We are participating in a Get New Zealand writing project. Warehouse Stationery has provided us with postcards to write to a sister school in New Zealand. This is what they look like when put together.
This week we are learning about seaweed.
Our assembly in term 1 was all about pandas because this year we have a new panda soft toy. We dressed in black and white and performed a panda dance.
Kevin and Kayla participated in the Weetbix tryathlon. They received certificates and medals. Well done champions!!!

My name is Perry Healey and I will be the student intern from the United States working in your child’s classroom for 7 weeks in term 1. Throughout my time at the University of Nevada, Reno I specialized in early childhood education and English language learners. I will be working with Mrs Govender to provide an enriched educational experience for your child. This is the culmination of my education degree and I am excited to have the opportunity to put my learning into practice. During this semester, I will be observing, team teaching, and lead teaching under the supervision of Mrs Govender and the university supervisor. I am available to meet you at your convenience if you wish.
